2020 Elliott School Celebration
On Friday May 15, 2020, the Elliott School of International Affairs celebrated the Class of 2020 with two livestreamed ceremonies, one for undergraduate students and one for graduate students. Featured speakers included Ambassador Nicholas Burns, Dean Reuben Brigety, Dr. Alexander B. Downes, Sarah Nugent, MA '20, and Rilind Abazi, BA '20. GW's university-wide Commencement also featured remarks from scholars and students, and video messages from the graduates themselves.
